Maybe this blog is the long-dormant result of percolation from our discussion :)

That's the perfect verse, Dorinda! BTW, guess who I met outside a random airport in Central America? Jennifer Mundall :)

Mr. Stottlemire: I'm glad you stopped by, fellow name-bearer :) I hope you were blessed--we Joels have to look out for one another!Joelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05717425012960930886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37430297.post-474994903930596542012-12-27T16:18:06.647-06:002012-12-27T16:18:06.647-06:00Hey Joel. But to me, the most powerful and convicting part of this story is this: God allowed Himself to be taken hostage. So profound! Israel certainly deserved to be taken captive - but God goes in their stead - into the heart of darkness and comes out victorious. This is what Jesus has done for me!Caitlinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17376690231809200554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37430297.post-55750785974884738402012-12-15T07:49:08.256-06:002012-12-15T07:49:08.256-06:00God spoke to me through this.
